Hello Everyone. 

    We are Angus Morrison Elementary school.  Our school is located in a small town called Angus, Ontario Canada.  We are very lucky to have two mixed intermediate classes (grade 7&8) involved in the Global Teenager Project this cycle.  The one group is focusing on the Millennium Development Goals and our class is involved with the Humanity and Conflict learning circle.  We are a class of 20 students with the ratio of males to females in our class being 13:9.  Angus Morrison joined the Global Teenager Project because we wanted to have a better understanding of issues, current events, and different perspectives from around the World.  Specifically we were interested in knowing what students our age were thinking and doing , with the hope that we could make a positive impact together.

   Our teacher Ms. Copeland has been teaching us a lot of Global Issues, and we think it is really interesting.  Through our studies of the declaration of Human Rights we have found out that Canada is rated 6^th on the Human Development Index.  We are think we are very lucky to be in such a resourceful Country as this, however, we still have many questions and concerns that we hope this learning opportunity will help us with.  As a class we are very excited to learn with all of the other schools.
